TRAAMS INTERCONTINENTAL RADIO WAVES

Having made a welcome albeit unexpected return with their 9 minute epic 'Greyhound' in August, TRAAMS have shared the second track from a series of new collaborative tracks recorded by Theo Verney in Brighton. At a comparatively swift 3 mins 'Intercontinental Radio Waves' is a leering monster of a track. Lyrically inspired by The Last Days of New Paris by China Miéville, heavy drums enforce a frighteningly good bass line that looms beneath vocalist/guitarist Stewart Armstrong's dynamic handling of wiry guitar playing and characterful vocal delivery. Arriving alongside a poignant animated visualiser Armstrong explains: "the video is an animated paean to the ideas that art can defeat fascism and that a broken heart can be healed."
